The Medical Laboratory Sciences program at Zion College trains students to become skilled laboratory professionals who perform crucial diagnostic tests that help doctors diagnose and treat diseases. *Salaries vary based on employer, location, specialization, and experience. Senior laboratory managers and supervisors earn higher salaries.

Entry Requirements

๐Ÿ“‹ Certificate Level

  • Academic: Form IV certificate with at least 4 passes in:
    • Physics
    • Chemistry
    • Biology
    • Mathematics or English
  • Age: At least 18 years old
  • Language: Good command of English and Kiswahili

๐Ÿ“‹ Diploma Level

  • Direct Entry: Form VI certificate with at least 2 principal passes in science subjects (PCB or PCM combination preferred)
  • OR
  • Equivalent: Laboratory Technician Certificate with good performance
  • Age: At least 18 years old
  • Language: Proficiency in English and Kiswahili
